Coming Soon Information on:

Tom Bombadil

Tom Bombadil lived in the Old Forest.  When he put on Frodo's ring, it had no effect on him at all.  When Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin were stuck in the Old Man Willow, Tom cam along and sung a powerful song and rescued them, and he rescued them when they were under the spell of the Barrow-Wights, simply by singing another one of his songs.

He told the hobbits many stories.  Many of which were of a long time ago.  He is said to be in existence since time began.  He is also fatherless.  All these clues can indicate who he is but no one is sure.  It is a character that Tolkien wanted to let the reader think about and use their own imagination.

Legolas

Son of Thranduil, Legolas was a Sindarin elf. Also known as greenleaf he was chosen to represent the race of elves in the fellowship of the rings. He was skilled at bow and arrow and had a very good eyesight.

During his travels with the fellowship he was recognized for various reasons, one being his freindship with the dwarf, Gimli. This was a very rare site because elves and dwarves always disliked eachother and fought one another.

Aragorn

Also known as ranger or strider Aragorn was part of the fellowship. He was Isilidur's bane and the rightful king to the throne of Gondor. Once the stewards line ended (when Denethor killed himself) and the war of the ring was over Aragorn was given the throne which should have rightfully been his before. He married the elf Arwen Evenstar and together they would rule the vast lands of Gondor.
